Day 1

Sunday, 5 of November 2017

We met up at the school 9 a clock, in the morning, to get picked up by Anders and Sami that was going to drive us to Arlanda, Stockholm airport. When we arrived at the airport and we got our baggage checked in and after the check-in, we went to the terminal/gate to board the plane. That flight took us to München. When we landed in München, it was not that much time to look around and we all were hungry so we just ate pizza for lunch at a food court, then ran to catch our next flight to Toulouse.
We arrived in Toulouse at 5.40 PM, after searching for everyone's baggage...  we got to meet our "France mentor", Marc, he picked us up in a minivan and drove us to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the city, next to The Garonne River.
The apartment is so much more beautiful than any of us imaged, even though there is no lock on the bathroom door... We solved the problem pretty quick by making our own system and rules; if no one is in the bathroom it should be open at all times, so when it's closed it means that it's busy. Open; green. Closed; red. Simple right?
We have pretty much everything, not the food but the cooking stuff; a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle and power of course outlets that match the Swedish power outlets. (hurray!)

After we got the information for the apartment, a fast guide through the area, keys, and codes...
We went shopping, in a small store, breakfast for tomorrow.  We bought bread, salami, butter, milk, yogurt, and cereals.
It is pretty late and we didn't have the energy to buy food for this week, so we figured we go grocery shopping tomorrow when school is finished. BIG grocery shopping, in the beautiful market.

As I'm writing this we have just finished dinner and are now planning what we're going to buy tomorrow. We created a food system; every person will get a day and decide a dish for that day.
For example; Monday is Alex day, he is the one that will decide what food it's gonna be and he is the one that gets to cook it. Of course, we all will help to prepare the dish if he asks for help, but like I said he is the one that decides dish.

It's Monday tomorrow and that means school. So 9.30 am tomorrow Anders and Sami will pick us up and drive us to school. We have no idea when school will end but we are, and need, to go grocery shopping after school. Anders said that we could take the metro home and that the metro will stop right "beside" the market.
So I guess it's just adventure time already. :)

That was pretty much everything for today, it's only 10pm but we're very tired...jet lag.
So we're just going to prepare ourselves for bed now.

Bye bye see you tomorrow! :)

Sincerely Tilda, Emmy, Olle, Alex and Hampus
